As we edge closer to the release of our latest product range on October 14th, here’s everything you need to know about what’s changing, what’s staying the same and how you can smoothly upgrade to our new ForeverFill™ system.

But first, why are we changing?

In the complex world of sustainability, one thing is sure—progress doesn’t happen without innovation. After four years in business, we realised that our original closed-loop model wasn’t the best solution for tackling the global plastic problem. And because facts are more important than feelings, we knew we had to act.

That’s why we spent two years developing ForeverFill™, a world-first, paper-based refill system that turns everyday chores into impactful change.


Here’s what’s changing:

ForeverFill™ overhauls our entire product range to transform how you clean, care for your family and reduce waste at your place. And if we’re right, it will set a new standard in sustainability, too.

We’ve given our entire packaging range a sustainable makeover. Think paper-based refills, dissolvable tablets and raw powders that slip seamlessly into sleek new Forever Bottles.

Oh, and the new colour lineup? Urchin Black, Kelp Green and Oyster White—because sustainability should match your style.

We’re hard at work developing new formulations and packaging solutions for these products. Our goal? To bring you the most sustainable, effective products possible. In the case of our Deodorant, we're focused on creating a roll-on that performs perfectly and reduces waste.

While the final designs are still in the works, another thing is for sure—we're committed to constant improvement for you, your family and our planet.

Our Billion Bottle Mission

To help us press pause on the cycle of waste, we’ve pledged to collect one billion water bottles' worth of waste from our oceans, rivers and beaches. It's an ambitious goal, but with ForeverFill™ and your help, we're making it happen—one paper-based refill at a time.

We know that change sparks curiosity, especially in the world of sustainability. Wondering how ForeverFill™ works with your existing Zero Co products? We explore that (and more) below.

1. Can I still use my old Zero Co products?

Absolutely! Your old Zero Co products are still 100% effective, with a 2-year shelf life. So go ahead and use them up, guilt-free.

2. Can I still use my old Zero Co bottles?

While technically possible, we don't recommend it. The new ForeverFill™ system is specifically designed for our new concentrates, powders and tablets. Some formulas have changed, so using old bottles will be tricky.

For the best experience and maximum positive impact on the planet, upgrade to our new Forever Bottles.

3. Is switching to the new system really more sustainable?

Absolutely! We've crunched the numbers, and here's why switching is the more sustainable choice:

  • Long-term impact: ForeverFill™ uses 97% less plastic and reduces freight emissions on our top-selling products by up to 75%. This massive reduction quickly offsets the one-time impact of switching.
  • Responsible transition: we're not letting old products go to waste. Until June 30th 2025, we're offering free return labels for existing customers to send back their old bottles and pouches.
  • Circular economy: we'll recycle returned gear into new Zero Co products or other useful items through our Australian recycling partners.
  • Improved efficiency: the new system's concentrates and paper-based packaging significantly reduce transportation emissions.
  • Designed for longevity: new Forever Bottles are built to last even longer, further reducing the need for replacements.

In short, switching is better in the long run—for you and the planet.

4. How do I send back old bottles & pouches?

We're taking back old bottles and pouches from existing customers. If you're eligible, you will receive an email with all the details.

How do I return everything?

Your first order of the new Zero Co comes with a fresh returns label. Use up your old products, pack all the empty bottles and pouches into the box your order came in, and ship it back to us.

We’re sending out return labels until June 30th, 2025, but you can return your old gear for a further 12 months until June 30th, 2026. No rush. No fuss.
